Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Season 2 Episode 6 Recap & Characters (Spoiler-Free)

Episode Summary

I Don't Want To Die

Rudeus settles into a school routine of morning exercise, magical practice and meals with Zanoba while struggling to make progress on the figurine-making lessons he promised. In the afternoons he revisits healing, divine-strike and barrier magic and researches teleportation in the library, still without recovery from his sexual dysfunction. Through an older student he learns of a plan to find a young dwarf girl who can use magic, and the group buys a six-year-old dwarf girl whose family was enslaved over debts. Rudeus recognizes in her the hopelessness he once felt, and she is named Juliette and begins living with Zanoba while learning language and silent magic from Rudeus.

• Figurine-making attempts

Zanoba presses Rudeus to keep his promise, and after the carving method also fails because of Zanoba's clumsiness and strength, the older student suggests using slave labor.

• Search for a silent-magic child

The older student argues that a child started on magic around age five can build large magical capacity, and a merchant finds a six-year-old dwarf girl enslaved over her parents' debts.

• Naming and new life with Juliette

Because dwarves receive formal names at age seven, Zanoba's proposed name is set aside in favor of Juliette, and she begins living with Zanoba while learning language and silent magic from Rudeus.
