Episode Summary
Of Course I Want to See It
Taiki keeps improving yet feels he is falling behind, especially next to Yusa, who is rumored to have beaten a pro, as Yuasa announces a Saturday practice match against Sachikawa. Hina says she will come cheer because she wants to see the person she likes giving his all, and Chinatsu says she will watch too, since she has to see her morning-practice partner in action.
Rehearsing Snow White's awakening scene, Hina admits she imagined really kissing Taiki, asks whether they should, and calls his racing heart part of her strategy when he refuses. The episode ends with Taiki feeling stuck in both badminton and his answer to Hina, just as Yusa asks him the way to the gym.
- Practice match setup
Yuasa announces a Saturday practice match against Sachikawa High School and warns that they won't reach next year's Inter-High without beating Sachikawa. Haryu is glad to finally face Yusa and tells Taiki that, having already lost once, he should go all out.
- Hina and Chinatsu want to watch
Hina says she will come cheer because she wants to see the person she likes trying hard, and Chinatsu says she will watch too, since she has to see her morning-practice partner in action.
- Pursuing a higher standard
Taiki is praised for his improved play but, after another practice loss, feels the gap has widened. Haryu remarks that Taiki's wish to beat Sachikawa's first-year has raised his own bar so high that he can't see his progress, yet refuses to advise him because he is also competing for an Inter-High place.
- Festival rehearsal with Hina
While preparing the awakening scene, Taiki helps Hina work out the princess's reaction to being poisoned. Hina admits she had imagined kissing him, asks whether they should really do it, accepts his refusal, and says making his heart race is part of her strategy.
- Doubt before the match
Haryu sees Taiki as earnest rather than merely stoic, and Chinatsu says that if you don't want to give up, you have to keep moving your feet. Taiki ends the episode feeling stuck in both badminton and his answer to Hina, just as Yusa appears asking the way to the gym.
