Recent Timeline

  • Crimson Tower assault and Blood Queen ritual (Season 2 Episode 2)

Claire and Mary, climbing the Crimson Tower, witness Juggernaut fighting high-ranking vampires and are cut down. Mary drinks the blood from Claire's mouth, awakening her own dormant vampiric abilities, and holds Juggernaut off briefly until Shadow kicks him off the tower to save Claire.

At the top of the tower, Crimson begins a ritual to resurrect the Blood Queen by placing Elisabeth's heart, but Shadow bursts in and interrupts it, killing the vampire who proved less durable than expected.

  • Rescue of Claire and halted Blood Queen assault (Season 2 Episode 3)

A four-woman Shadow Garden cell reaches the Crimson Tower as the Blood Queen is about to feed on Claire. Beta beheads the Blood Queen while 664 secures Claire, but the head reattaches to the body and the attack escalates, so Beta orders a retreat with Claire.

Shadow enters the fight, shielding everyone from red and black missiles and facing the Blood Queen directly. His Recovery Atomic spell heals the ghouls, the wounded, and the unconscious Elisabeth.

Returning to Midgar Kingdom, Cid switches to his Shadow persona on a train and confronts Yukime, who has followed him from Lawless City.

  • MCA cargo ambush, banknote launch, and Zabra's death (Season 2 Episode 4)

MCA-hired bandits ambush a high-value Mitsugoshi cargo trade, but the employees they threaten are Nu, Chi, and Omega in disguise. Shadow Garden encircles and crushes the bandits, and Nu reports the assault has significantly weakened the MCA, forcing it to rely on legitimate resources in the coming war.

MCA-affiliated merchants hold a citywide sale to celebrate the new 1000 Zeni banknote, which Cid finds cruder than Mitsugoshi's notes. Cid and Yukime plan to counterfeit MCA notes and, at Yukime's proposal, let fakes be discovered to trigger a credit crisis after cashing out beforehand.

Zabra, claiming to be Delta's brother and now serving Gettan, is killed by Delta, who stabs him in the chest. Delta dismisses the loss, noting the father has over a thousand offspring. Garter reports to Gettan that Zabra, the fourth leaf, has been defeated.

  • Mitsugoshi headquarters raid and counterfeit quality test (Season 2 Episode 5)

Gamma, Omega, and Chi repel intruders at Mitsugoshi headquarters. Leaf One dies when Gamma's flung sword pierces his neck and explodes. Garter must then report the failed raid to Gettan.

Yukime's counterfeit is made so well that it surpasses the original design, and John Smith judges that few people could tell the difference. Distribution of the counterfeit notes is set to begin immediately.

  • Counterfeit circulation and failed train interception (Season 2 Episode 5)

Shadow Garden catches the counterfeit currency after a few bills appear in Mitsugoshi stores. Gamma reports to Alpha that the patrons seem unaware the money is forged.

Sent to intercept counterfeit cargo on an outward-bound train, the squad of 664, 665, and 666 is bound by wires and thrown off the train by John Smith. They withdraw and plan to report the man in the suit to Gamma.

The MCA issues a new 1000 Zeni banknote in the royal capital, with cruder printing and less detailed design than Mitsugoshi banknotes.

A Therianthrope clan is ruled by a chief who has over a thousand offspring, and the clan chief position passes to whoever defeats the current chief.

  • Inconspicuous viscountcy as production base

Clue Board

  • Gettan's credit-crisis plan (Season 2 Episode 5)

The credit-crisis plan Alpha feared is revealed to be Gettan's true purpose, but it was not meant to start this early; the premature circulation of counterfeit MCA banknotes threatens the Cult's capital still tied up in MCA assets.

John Smith says he knew the women would come to the train, though their arrival came sooner than he expected, leaving his reason for anticipating them unexplained.
