Episode Summary
Vision Time
The day after the Takaoka incident, Korosensei leads Class E to a pool he built in the forest, where the class discovers he cannot swim. Terasaka, feeling alienated, is manipulated by Shiro and Itona into a plan to knock Korosensei into the water, but the signal triggers a dam explosion.
Karma works out the scheme, Terasaka takes Itona's tentacle blow, and the spray residue on his shirt plus the class's splashing weaken Itona until Shiro retreats. Terasaka finds his place in the class. Nagisa later reflects that another weakness of Korosensei, far more important than his inability to swim, surfaced that day, though no one noticed it then.

Recent Timeline
- Itona vs Korosensei after-school duel (Episode 11)
Itona Horibe, the second transfer student, arrived with his guardian Shiro, called Korosensei 'brother' and challenged him to a ring duel after school in which stepping out meant death. Tentacles burst from Itona's hair, and Shiro's reaction-slowing beam plus the cost of shedding and regrowing let Itona take the lead, but Korosensei tricked him into hitting anti-sensei knives on the floor and tossed him out of the ring wrapped in shed skin. When Itona raged, Shiro knocked him out and took him away; Korosensei's tentacle hand was destroyed on Shiro's anti-sensei robe.
- Class E asks for assassination training (Episode 11)
After the duel, the students admitted they had been hoping someone else would do the job and asked Karasuma for more assassination training so they could kill their teacher with their own hands. He began tougher after-school drills for volunteers.
- Class E vs baseball club exhibition match (Episode 12)
At the ball game tournament, Class E's boys played an exhibition match against the baseball club with Korosensei coaching. Bunts loaded the bases and Sugino's triple put them three runs ahead, until the chairman made the club's coach feign illness, took over, and shut down the bunts with an all-infield shift. In the last inning, with the bases loaded on the club's copied bunts, Karma and Isogai fielded at zero distance in front of Shindo, who lost his nerve, and Class E won. Korosensei called it one win each against the chairman and set the finals as the decider.
- Takaoka dismissed after knife challenge (Episode 13)
Takaoka, who had taken over PE with violent training, proposed a duel in which a student would face him with a real knife while he stayed unarmed. Nagisa defeated him and pinned him with the blade at his throat. Chairman Asano then dismissed Takaoka for ruling by violence and fear, reminding him that the Ministry of Defense has no say over the school's teachers.
- Pool dam trap ambush (Episode 14)
Terasaka fired the signal gun Shiro had given him, setting off an explosion that destroyed the pool dam and swept the class toward a cliff until Korosensei saved them all. In Karma's counter-plan Terasaka took Itona's blow, and the smoke-tainted shirt and the class's splashing weakened Itona until Shiro admitted defeat. Terasaka became the class's ally.

- Government-sanctioned assassination and reward
The government reluctantly accepted the creature's own offer to teach Class 3-E on condition that he harms no students, and secretly tasked the class with killing him, since public knowledge would cause global panic. A successful assassination is rewarded with 10 billion yen.

- Class E's place in the school system
Kunugigaoka's Class E is sent every day to an isolated mountaintop campus and discriminated against as the lowest-ranked class, nicknamed the E-as-in-End Class. The chairman deliberately keeps it at the bottom in grades and treatment so that fear of falling into it drives the other students. To escape, a student must rank in the top 50 of the 186 third-years and get permission from their former homeroom teacher.

Staffing at the school is in the chairman's hands: he can dismiss teachers regardless of the Ministry of Defense, which has no such say over the school. He used this power to dismiss Takaoka for his violence.

Ritsu, the autonomous fixed artillery, is registered as a student, so Korosensei must not harm her. He has told her that firing during lessons is not allowed.

- Shiro and Itona's score over the moon (Episode 10)
The night before Itona's arrival, Shiro told him that Korosensei is his brother and will be his teacher from tomorrow, then said they would go settle the score over the moon. What the two hold against Korosensei over the moon is still unexplained.
- Claimed brotherhood with Itona (Episode 11)
Shiro insists Itona and Korosensei are brothers despite different parents and upbringings, and the fight is presented as proof. Korosensei says he was raised as an only child and does not know what Itona means. The relation is unresolved.
- Source of Itona's tentacles (Episode 11)
Itona has tentacles like Korosensei's growing from his hair. Korosensei demands to know where they came from, but Shiro refuses to answer, so the origin stays unexplained.
- Reason for current form and teaching Class E (Episode 11)
Students ask why Korosensei takes his current form and why he teaches Class E. He answers seriously that they must earn these answers by trying to kill him, so the reason remains hidden.
- Disturbing recruit photo (Episode 13)
Karasuma is horrified by a photo of Takaoka's recruits showing bruises and tied hands. It foreshadows the violent training Takaoka then imposes on Class E, for which the Chairman dismisses him.
- Another critical weakness of Korosensei (Episode 14)
A further weakness of Korosensei surfaced during the pool assault, described as far more important than his inability to swim. The class did not realize it at the time, and its nature is not revealed.
Deduction Board

Shiro gave Terasaka what looked like a gun but was really a transmitter to signal Shiro and Itona once the class was standing by in the pool, and paid him cash for the preparations.
Inferences
- Terasaka was used
Seeing Terasaka frozen in shock, Karma worked out that someone else had devised the plan and Terasaka had simply been used.

Karma counted on Terasaka wearing the same shirt as the day before, still carrying the smoke; Itona started sneezing as he attacked Terasaka and weakened.
Suspicions

- Withholds tentacle origin
Shiro refuses to say where Itona got his tentacles
- Brotherhood claim
Shiro and Itona insist that Itona and Korosensei are brothers, but Korosensei says he was raised an only child, and the truth is unknown.

Ability Table
| User | Ability | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Korosensei | Mach 20 speed | Can fly and move at up to Mach 20, fast enough to dodge a whole classroom's volley of BBs and to tutor each student at once with afterimage clones. |
| Korosensei | Tentacle regeneration | A tentacle destroyed by anti-sensei weapons grows back within seconds, though regrowing it uses up a good deal of stamina. |
| Korosensei | Monthly skin shedding | Once a month he can shed his skin and use it as a shield. Shedding drains more energy than it looks and slows him afterward; against Itona he escaped by shedding and later wrapped Itona in the shed skin. |
| Korosensei | Keen sense of smell | Has a keen nose: he can sniff out sweets from far away and caught the unfamiliar men hidden in the storage shed by their body odor. |
| Korosensei | Mucus | Secretes a sticky mucus that caught a sniper's bullet on oil-blotting paper and doubles as bath foam that lifts away dirt. |
| Itona Horibe | Tentacle hair | Hair that wriggles with tentacles like Korosensei's and can strike and land blows in combat. |
| Shiro | Anti-sensei robe | A white robe made of anti-sensei material that destroys Korosensei's tentacles on contact. |
| Shiro | Reaction-slowing beam | A special beam that hampers the target's reaction time; used in the duel to help Itona corner Korosensei. |
| Ritsu | Adaptive fixed artillery fire | Fires repeated volleys of anti-sensei guns at Korosensei and calculates the probability of killing him, which rises over time. It learns and evolves from its earlier attacks, so a fire pattern that once worked can be countered by Korosensei, but the AI adapts and can land hits, such as destroying one tentacle finger. |
| Tadaomi Karasuma | Five knife strikes per second | Can strike a target five times with a knife in a single second. |
| Nagisa Shiota | Natural assassin's talent | Small and easy to overlook, he can walk up to a target holding a real knife as calmly as if walking to school. In the real-knife challenge he slipped behind Takaoka, froze him with a feinted neck slash and pinned him down, and Karasuma recognized him as a natural-born assassin. |
