Episode Summary
2nd Night: Do You Do LINE?
Kou sneaks out at night to meet Nazuna, who reminds him that for a vampire, sucking blood is not just eating but, under certain conditions, also a form of mating. Nazuna admits she has been feeding on random people, and the two struggle to find each other each night. Kou gives her a wristwatch transceiver, and after a test play within its 150-meter range they spend more time together. On the school roof Nazuna bites his neck again, and Kou suggests they start as friends. The episode ends when a girl wearing the other transceiver appears behind Kou.

World Memo
- Turning, feeding, and night blood
A person can become a vampire only if they fall in love with the vampire who would turn them. For vampires, blood is simply food, and feeding does not require creating new vampires; making many offspring is not a universal habit. Human blood tastes best at night, especially just before a person falls asleep, because it is infused with night. Sucking blood is not only eating for vampires but also copulation under certain conditions.
- Blood variation and the turning process
Different people's blood is like different meals, so feeding partners vary in taste. Blood-sucking is part of the feeding process, and a single feeding does not by itself turn a person into a vampire.
Clue Board
- Unexplained sleeplessness (Episode 1)
Kou has recently had trouble sleeping, a problem he looked up online and that remains unexplained in this episode.
- Finder of the hidden transceiver (Episode 2)
Kou hid one of two transceivers at age nine and never got a call, then found the other one missing and assumed someone had found it. This episode a girl wearing the other transceiver appears behind Kou and calls him by name, which resolves the question of who found it; her identity and reason for having it are not yet explained.
