Recent Timeline

• Venom defeated and Aurora freed (Episode 12)

At the arena, Nelson's guard Venom tried to kill Epsilon as Alpha's squad entered the Sanctuary, but she dodged his slash and defeated him faster than anyone could see, keeping her speed hidden. Meanwhile Cid removed the straitjacket Aurora wore in the white void room, and she asked him to work with her to reach the Sanctuary's core and escape.

• Breakthrough, Olivier clash and withdrawal (Episode 13)

Cid and Aurora pushed through a battlefield memory where the dead rose to attack them; Cid defeated them while protecting Aurora, and they reached the center door, blocked by a chained door and an undrawable sword. Delta destroyed over a hundred Nelson clones with her Iron Slab sword despite the Sanctuary draining power, and Alpha deduced the clones shared one brain and could not be controlled well, prompting Nelson to summon Olivier's memory from her statue. Shadow Garden, having studied the possessed archive, regrouped and left the Sanctuary, planning a return on their own terms. At the core, Olivier, a mindless shell with Alpha's face, broke Cid's sword and wounded his shoulder before stabbing him; Cid opened the right eye he had kept closed and said he had caught Olivier, as magic unaffected by the core flared through his circuits.

• Sanctuary destroyed and Aurora fades (Episode 14)

Cid defeated the Olivier copies and cast I Am The All-Range Atomic, whose blast obliterated the Sanctuary, the holy sword, the chained door, and Nelson. Epsilon reported the destruction to Alpha, who noted Nelson was dead and called the outcome the simplest and most effective solution. Aurora confessed she had called Cid into the Sanctuary and lied about other matters, thanked him for a memory she did not want to forget, and faded away, after which Cid took his leave.

• Cid's disguise and alley beating (Episode 15)

Gamma and her staff, using Eta's machine, built a realistic slime face mask so Cid could enter the Bushin Festival as Mundane Mann, a lazy, disowned Dark Knight with a weak appearance. When Mundane brushed off warnings to quit the festival and taunted Quinton, the angered Quinton dragged him into an alley and beat him, stopping only when Annerose ordered him to, after Cid chose to endure the beating rather than fight yet.

• Rose's stabbing and Mundane's preliminary win (Episode 15)

Newspapers reported that Rose stabbed her fiancé Perv Asshat before fleeing, shocking Cid, who had just learned she would meet her father to be introduced to that fiancé. In the preliminary bout, Gonzales Machom fell within a second of the match starting and Mundane Mann was declared winner, disappointing the crowd, while Annerose saw Mundane land two quick punches to the chin.
