Recent Timeline

  • Kidnapping rescue and Kageno's rebirth (Episode 1)

Akane is abducted after the driver's assault, and the masked Kageno storms the warehouse, disarms the lead kidnapper, and breaks the leg of the remaining veteran with crowbars before freeing her. Her father uses his connections to keep the case from becoming public. Separately, the hated classmate Minoru Kageno is run down by a truck and reborn into a new world, ending his life at school.

  • Claire's abduction and rescue (Episode 2)

On the day Claire was due to leave for the academy, a high-ranking Cult of Diablos member abducted her, likely believing she was a hero descendant. Shadow Garden traced the hideout through Beta's map analysis, and Shadow defeated Viscount Grease, who held Claire chained, and freed her. She returned home the next day and left for the academy.

  • Cid's fake confession accepted (Episode 3)

Forced by a test penalty, Cid confesses to Princess Alexia Midgar, the most sought-after girl at school. She unexpectedly accepts, saying she was waiting for someone like him. The acceptance sparks school rumors and begins a fake relationship that Alexia uses to escape her engagement to Zenon Griffey. When Alexia later fails to return to her dorm, Cid, the last person seen with her, is taken in as the first suspect.

  • Cid's release and the night raids (Episode 4)

After five days of interrogation without a confession, Princess Iris orders Cid released under surveillance, and he is thrown out of the Knight Order building with his belongings. Days later, at night, Cid takes Delta's place to open the raid: in a dark alley he kills the two corrupt interrogator knights who had tried to frame him for Alexia's kidnapping. A blast from Delta then signals Shadow Garden's simultaneous raids on the Fenrir sect hideouts across the capital, where Delta wipes out one hideout and splits its building in two.

  • Lair injection and Zenon's betrayal (Episode 4)

In the lair, the mad doctor injects the captive creature with his prototype, which enlarges and strengthens it, and the creature kills him immediately, then cuts Alexia's chains and frees her. Later, Zenon reveals he funded the doctor's research and kidnapped Alexia to take her blood and secure a seat among the Knights of Rounds. He easily disarms her and punches her into the sewer water.
