Recent Timeline

• Claire Kagenou abduction and rescue (Episode 2)

On the day Claire was to leave for the academy, a high-ranking Cult of Diablos member abducted her, likely believing she was a hero descendant. Shadow Garden traced the hideout through Beta's map analysis, and Shadow defeated Viscount Grease, who held Claire chained, freeing her. Claire returned home the next day and left for the academy.

• Fake confession and Alexia's disappearance (Episode 3)

Forced by a test penalty, Cid confessed to Princess Alexia Midgar, the most sought-after girl at school. She unexpectedly accepted, saying she had been waiting for someone like him.

The acceptance made the pair the subject of school rumors and began a fake relationship that Alexia used to escape her engagement to Zenon Griffey.

Two weeks later, Alexia failed to return to her dorm, and Cid, the last person seen with her, was taken in as the first suspect in her suspected kidnapping.

• Cid released and Shadow Garden night raid (Episode 4)

After five days of interrogation without a confession, Princess Iris ordered Cid released under surveillance and he was thrown out of the Knight Order building with his belongings, becoming free to act against the frame-up.

Days later, at night, Cid took Delta's place to open Shadow Garden's raid, killing in an alley the two corrupt interrogator knights who had tried to frame him for Alexia's kidnapping. A blast from Delta then signaled simultaneous attacks on the Fenrir faction's hideouts across the capital, with Delta destroying one hideout and its Cult members while several buildings were demolished.

At the lair, the mad doctor injected the captive creature with his prototype, and the creature killed him and freed Alexia. Zenon then revealed he had funded the research and kidnapped Alexia for her blood to secure a seat among the Knights of Rounds, easily disarming her and punching her into the sewer.

• Monster slain and Zenon destroyed (Episode 5)

A Cult-enhanced monster broke out from underground and rampaged through the capital, regenerating faster than Iris's attacks could hurt it, until Alpha defeated it in one sword strike and returned it to its original form.

In a sewer tunnel, Shadow's Atomic spell vaporized Zenon, who had taken red pills and become the Third Awakened, leveling several city blocks and leaving a large crater at the center of the royal capital.

After Cid refused Alexia's proposal, she slashed him behind the school building, leaving much blood but no body; the case became one of the school's seven mysteries, though his kidnapping charges had already been cleared.

• Fenrir hideouts cleared and new team (Episode 5)

The Seven Shadows confirmed that all hidden Fenrir faction bases were destroyed, and Zenon is presumed to have evaporated without a trace.

Iris recruited the trusted knights Glen and Marco Granger into a new investigation team under her command to probe the Cult of Diablos and Shadow Garden, and both agreed to join.
