Recent Timeline
- Ring unlocking, tavern extortion, and Kouadoi's fall (Season 2 Episode 9)
In the ruins of First Castle Town, the Queen unlocked a ring tied to Hero Freya at Kouadoi's behest, and 559 attacked her as the first target. Rose parried the strike to protect her mother, was punched in the face, and was boxed in by Cult Members; her betrayal convinced 559 that Rose was unworthy to serve Lord Shadow. At Marie's tavern, three soldiers extorted war-effort payment and beat Cid when he intervened, until an unseen gold delivery rescued Marie. The same soldiers were later killed in a ruined house by a black tendril from the bloodied Cid. After three days of fighting, 559 defeated Kouadoi's First Named Children, and Shadow arrived under the full moon as she turned Kouadoi into red slime.
- Oriana matter passes to Shadow (Season 2 Episode 10)
Lambda arrived in Oriana with Shadow Garden reinforcements to confront 666 over the betrayal and the Cult, but Chi and Omega told her the matter now rested with Shadow. Epsilon later confirmed Shadow had already made contact with Rose, placing the situation beyond their control. Posing as Shiron's student, Cid performed Moonlight Sonata at the Oriana palace as compensation for his stay, and many guests, including Duke Perv, offered to become his patrons, while Shiron said he was still in training. After Cid urged Rose not to accept the wedding, Duke Perv confronted her, warning that her mother's life depended on the union; overhearing this, Cid set Plan B in motion.
- Collapse of the royal wedding (Season 2 Episode 11)
Shadow led Rose to witness Queen Reina and Perv in private, where Reina admitted drugging the king and agreed that Rose should have been killed first, and Rose broke down. At the wedding, Rose refused to marry Perv, confessed to killing the king herself, and publicly accused him of manipulating the king, defiling the queen, and plotting a coup. King Girk's recorded confession exposed Perv's drugging, and the crowd turned against him. Mordred then unleashed the Black Rose and the colossal beast Ragnarok, sparking a massacre in the capital.
- Shadow's victories over Ragnarok and Mordred (Season 2 Episode 12)
Shadow fought the summoned beast Ragnarok, Grand Ruler of the Fourth Realm, and defeated it, leaving Mordred, who had commanded it, in denial as the monster's severed arm fell behind him. Mordred, fused with Ragnarok's remains, then attacked Shadow directly, and Shadow ended the fight with a nuclear-fission blast that lit up the Oriana and Midgar kingdoms and reached nearby planets as a false dawn.
- Akane's night ambush (Season 2 Episode 12)
Akane Nishino, walking alone at night, was ambushed by two thugs who intended to capture her alive for a client who wanted to kill her personally. A figure calling himself Shadow then appeared and intervened.
